![]() ![]() ![]() They have all the experience and feedback from the first game, a game crashing every other time you play it is NOT normal and neither is video lagging so bad it might create a rip in the time space continuum. I get game development is hard and delays are to be expected, and I imagine it’s different working under Microsoft now as well, but over 2 years in delays already likely with little-to-no explanation is bonkers. I admit I love the game despite how much it crashes, how glitched out and I optimized the entire game is in general, however, as a paying customer who spent money on the first game and all the DLC’s, I don’t think it’s a crazy idea for Wildcard to at least do a better job of keeping us informed. Wildcard needs to give us an update or at least admit production isnt going smoothly and we should not be expecting this as of 2023 But we are going on 2 years now with nothing other than a 2 min trailer and a teaser for melee weapons. I know this isn’t a major gaming studio and they are involved in many different ambitious projects. Raasclark, an ARK youtuber has live streamed several events (almost 3 hours each time) hoping to see new content, just to be presented with that same god damn trailer we saw in 2021. I’ve been checking almost daily for ark 2 updates with absolutely nothing new as of 2021 other than constant date changes. Theres little to no enjoyment now and it just feels like a constant grind cycle.īecause of my dissatisfaction with this and little motivation to start over with settings that “might” be balanced. Now since my dinos are maxed out its not even enjoyable. I’ve been playing for months now, with settings I thought were balanced. They need to have presets for game settings. ![]() This bothers me because I play ark single player and man does it feel unrewarding. This combined with the fact that they havent used any of the recent game shows / events to show off in game play, I think its safe to say we will not be getting ark 2 in 2023. Months prior to arks original release, their trailers featured a combination of live action shots and in game gameplay. We have not seen a single glimpse of gameplay. ![]()
